Sports Law Job Post – Assistant Counsel, National Football League

  • Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree from an accredited 4 year University or College and J.D. from an accredited law school
  • 3-5 years of experience with strong background in complex commercial transactions
  • Certification, Licenses, and Registration: Admitted and in good standing with one or more state bars

Job Function:

  • Review ownership transfer transactions, and stadium-related transactions for compliance with NFL policies
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various other transactional agreements, such as consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements and engagement letters
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Sound judgment and decision-making ability
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
  • Travel Requirements: As necessary
